Adopt a Block

Come join teams of residents who have adopted certain blocks of the Avenue to remove litter, weeds, graffiti and other debris off our Avenue Corridor and share in community pride and love.
WHERE: Meet at Avenue Community Church 767 N. Ventura Avenue at 9:00am.
Wear a hat and don’t forget to bring your own water bottle.
Gloves, trash bags and trash pickers will be provided.
After all the hard labor, come join the other teams to eat local breakfast burritos!
So far we have a little over a half dozen different groups participating already- Thank you Manos Unidas, ACTS( Avenue Coalition To Serve), Avenue Community Church, City Kidz, Park Row Crew! You can form your own Adopt a Block group or join one of the existing groups!
