A connected community is resourceful and resilient. The WCDC serves as a hub, linking neighbors, businesses, organizations and community groups. By weaving these connections, the WCDC is better connected as well, helping us to hear the needs and adapt and grow to meet them.
We offer the following community connections:
The Changemaker Network – our membership network connects westside neighbors and organizations who want to meet each other and make a difference in our community. For more info
The Westside Business Network – members are local retail, service, home-based and creative businesses who come together to share their needs and concerns, as well as their visions for the Westside. For more info
Idea Hub – twice a year we gather local leaders to share ideas for addressing needs in the community. In the Idea Hub, we help each other by brainstorming, identifying resources and possible next steps and preparing projects that may be eligible for subgrants.
